‘The Bachelor’ 2016 Spoilers: Season 20 Episode 8

There are four women left on The Bachelor 2016, which means it’s time for the hometown dates. Lauren Bushnell, Amanda Stanton, JoJo Fletcher and Caila Quinn welcome Ben Higgins to meet their families, but it’s not all sunshine and roses (achem). Higgins is in for some serious pressure and conflict this episode. For all the spoilers on what to expect as well as who gets eliminated tonight, read on below.

JoJo Fletcher’s Visit Is Packed With Drama

Joelle Fletcher, aka JoJo, has a very emotional and heavy visit with star Ben Higgins. With JoJo involved in the show, all of a sudden, an ex-boyfriend named Chad has sent her a bouquet of flowers and a note, trying to get back on her good side. And, if that wasn’t enough, JoJo’s two brothers are so over-protective that they start a fight with Higgins, telling him that he’s brainwashed the girls on the show. Poor Ben.

Bushnell’s Sister Has Concerns

Lauren Bushnell is a beautiful girl and her sister is gorgeous as well. Tonight, Bushnell’s sister sits down with Higgins to discuss his intentions with her sister. She also lets him know that she’s very aware there are other women who may interest him and that she worries Lauren may “lose herself in this process.”

Bushnell’s father has his reservations as well.

Stanton’s Family Situation Intimidates Higgins

Higgins finally gets to meet Stanton’s two young daughters and they get along very well. However, he starts to see that a relationship with Stanton would mean he would become an “instant dad,” as he is reminded by Stanton’s own father. According to Reality Steve, Stanton is the girl who gets sent home tonight, so perhaps fatherhood was a bit too much for Higgins.

Just a fun fact: Stanton and fellow contestant Lauren Bushnell have become good friends during the show as well as after filming. Stanton refers to Bushnell as “the Monica to my Rachel.”

Quinn’s Dad Tells Higgins That Being With His Daughter Involves the Filipino Community

During Higgins’ hometown date with Caila Quinn, Quinn’s father tells him that when he dates Quinn, it involves embracing the whole Filipino community to an extent. When discussing this, Quinn looks like she’s a little caught off-guard by the conversation. Her dad tells Higgins that he didn’t know what he was getting into when he was marrying his wife (Caila’s mother), but the two are still together and very happy. Have a look at that scene in the above video clip.
