1. Carol Does a Wonderful Deed for the People of Alexandria

The Walking Dead Season 6

Carol is taking count of all the provisions within the kitchen while some cheery music is playing in the background. She heads out into the woods to pick up chestnuts (she cuts down a Walker during her trek outside). After getting out of the shower, she dons a new shirt and takes out some fresh chestnuts out of the oven. Carol finishes baking some cookies, which she decides to hand out to the people of Alexandria. She meets up with one of her neighbors and shares some of her last batch of cookies with him before word goes around that Rick and his group have returned.

Rick alerts everyone to a meeting that’s going down in the Church. He lets Carol know that they’re going to be heading into a new fight. Carol looks on with a worried face. Morgan shows up behind her. It’s been a good while since they’ve spoken to each other. Carol kept quiet about what Morgan did and what happened between the both of them. Carol wants no part of this conversation and decides to tell Morgan to leave her alone. Carol leaves one last cookie on the grave of Sam Anderson.

2. Rick and Morgan Disagree on How to Approach The Saviors

Alexandria’s community looks on and listen to Rick as he gives them the lowdown on everything covered in the last episode. Rick assures them that they have to help the Hilltop Colony and make a decision towards their next battle. Morgan gets up and asks Rick if they can truly defeat The Saviors. Rick lets him know that it can be done, but Morgan wishes to speak with them instead of killing them first. Rick objects to Morgan’s plea for a conversation with The Saviors, but Morgan stays adamant about his stance. Aaron agrees with Rick, Morgan takes a set and Rick makes it clear that taking The Saviors out is their best bet.

When nightfall strikes, Carol can be seen in her bedroom. She takes out a personal notebook and jots down a few things. In another house, Glenn and Maggie speak about what they should do regarding this new situation. Carol walks along the streets smoking a cigarette and spots the special neighbor she gave a cookie to from before. Both of them speak about the next day’s dangerous mission. The neighbor realizes just how dangerous how Carol can be and knowns she can handle all the tough missions that come her way. He lets her know that she’s like a mother to everyone in Alexandria and to him she’s something “more special.”

Rosita walks in on Abraham packing up. He notifies her that he’s decided to leave Alexandria altogether. Rosita gives him hell for not letting her know why he’s getting out of Alexandria. Abraham tells her that he thought she was the only girl left on Earth, but he was wrong. Rosita cries to herself for a bit when suddenly Eugene makes things even more awkward. She shuts the door and cries to herself. Rick and his group go over the floor plan of The Saviors in order to come up with a game plan. Tara and Denise share a warm moment before the next day arrives. Rick and his group continue to go over how they should approach The Saviors’ home base. Rick tells everyone that they’re going to give them Gregory’s head somehow, someway.

3. Rick and Jesus Obtain a Severed Zombie Head in Order to Fool The Saviors Into Thinking They Killed Gregory

Several vehicles can be seen traveling along a barren road. Rick and his support exit the cars with their weapons in hand. Rick tells them what’s next and then heads off to have some small talk with Father Gabriel. Rosita meets up with Carol and speaks with her about everything Morgan did beforehand. Rosita makes it clear that Morgan is wrong for what he did, but she promises not to tell anyone about the accident with The Wolves member. Carol looks ahead and see Maggie in the distance. Glenn and Heath head into the forest to chop down some wandering Walkers. Afterwards, they talk about the dangerous events that are soon to follow their conversation. Glenn admits that he’s nervous about this whole ordeal.

Rosita walks up on Rick and everyone speaking about the next part of their plan. Rick makes it clear that they may need to retreat if The Saviors appear more dangerous than they’ve been told. Carol asks Rick why Maggie is here, even though she’s pregnant. Rick lets her know that it was her decision to be out here and allows Carol to stay by her side all night. Rick and Jesus choose to use of the severed zombie heads they just obtained to make it look like they killed Gregory. Rick punches one of the zombie heads in order to make it look like Gregory as much as possible. The messenger from the Hilltop Colony they brought along tells Rick he’s way more scarier than The Saviors.
