The Young and the Restless returns on Wednesday with an all-new episode as Nick (Joshua Morrow) is concerned for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) that Adam (Justin Hartley) won’t walk away from Newman Enterprises, reported Celeb Dirty Laundry. Also, Marisa (Sofia Pernas) warns Summer (Hunter King) about Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva).

Nick Is Worried for Chelsea That Adam Still Wants Victor’s Chair

While Nick has a new baby and Noah’s (Robert Adamson) future on his mind, he’ll also be concerned for Chelsea that Adam won’t completely severe ties with Newman Enterprises. Investors in the company are already questioning Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) presence in Victor’s chair and Adam has a history of staying loyal to his father.
On Wednesday, Chelsea “will believe that Adam is putting the company behind him,” reported the site. Chelsea — who’s had continual doubts about Adam’s loyalty to her — is now convinced that Adam’s done with Victor. In response, Nick tells her that Adam has always had an inclination to power and he won’t change overnight. With Victoria’s having issues succeeding in Victor’s position, the chair could be Adam’s for the taking.
Meanwhile, “Summer (Hunter King) will serve as a confidant for Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva),” reported the site. Since Marisa is now engaged to Noah, Luca may be feeling as though he needs Summer’s attention. The site reported that Marisa will “urge Summer to stay away from Luca and all of his dirty tricks.”
