Adam Wakefield is one of the predicted winners on The Voice this season, as a member of Team Blake Shelton. But, is show business really for him? Wakefield confessed to Parade: There’s a lot of things, like getting a taste of what life would be like if you want to pursue your own music career. Do I want to spend this much time away from my girlfriend and home? Do I really want to sit on my phone all day and tweet people? Do you want to be spending your life in hotels and on buses and shaking hands with people you don’t know? It’s eye opening. It’s not all glitz and glamour. There’s a lot of hard work that goes into it that not everybody necessarily wants to do. Wakefield's biggest competition on the show is definitely Alisan Porter from Team Xtina.
