Two weeks ago, Kailyn Lowry publicly confirmed that she and her husband Javi Marroquin have decided to end their marriage. This season on Teen Mom 2, we witnessed the couple struggle with a miscarriage amidst a lot of fighting. When Marroquin deploys, he leaves wife Lowry at home with their son Lincoln and her son Isaac. While trying to juggle motherhood, school and work, Lowry has a rough time. Marroquin expresses that he wants to have more children, but Lowry is not on board with that plan, especially while he is away and she is still in school.
Marroquin decides that if Lowry doesn’t want to have more kids, then he doesn’t want to be with her. Marroquin tells her:
We texted and we talked about our future. There is no future. That’s a big reason why we’re not going to work. Your excuse is bullshit.
Previously, Lowry was accused of cheating on Marroquin when a text flashed on her phone during a phone conversation on the show and the text was supposedly from a guy at her school. Lowry has also been dealing with rumors that she’s a lesbian. All the rumors and speculation about Lowry’s marriage have really been taking their toll on her as she tells Real Mr. Housewife:
This is really getting sickening. I can’t take a breath or a step without people claiming it has something to do with a divorce. I acknowledge the fact that I’m on TV and this comes with the territory to an extent, but at this point there are some things I want to keep between my family. Due to that, I would really appreciate this over analyzation of every move I make stopping, as it’s simply getting ridiculous.
Lowry and Marroquin have had a very rocky relationship, filled with fighting, jealousy and sacrifice. It’s sad news for the couple and their Teen Mom 2 fans.
