RIP Christina Grimmie: Photos To Remember ‘The Voice’ Singer

Christina Grimmie, a singer who performed on NBC's The Voice and gained fame though her popular YouTube covers, was killed after performing in Orlando, Florida Friday night. Her death was confirmed by officials Saturday morning. "Ewe can confirm that Christina has passed and went home to be with the Lord," her publicist said. Grimmie was only 22 years old. She had been posting videos on YouTube since 2009 and even released an album before performing on The Voice. She was coached by Adam Levine and finished in third place. Levine shared a picture of the two on Instagram, writing that he is "sad, shocked and confused" by the shooting. To remember her, The Voice turned their Twitter profile black. "We are heartbroken. @TheRealGrimmie is a loved member of our family. Our thoughts are with her and her family," a statement from the show reads. "There are no words. We lost a beautiful soul with an amazing voice. Our hearts go out to the friends, fans and family of @TheRealGrimmie." Here's a look at her career in photos.
