Was the ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Premiere 1 Hour or 2?

Some PLL fans are confused tonight as to why they thought that the Pretty Little Liars premiere was two hours long, but the show only aired for 1 hour. It looks like the premiere is just one hour long, guys, but we are digging for updates on what mistake may have been made. For example, some people are reporting that their Guide function on their TV said the episode was two hours. Perhaps it’s the TV provider’s fault and not the show’s. Below is an example with Direct TV putting the time slot as two hours tonight.

Has anyone with other network providers like Cablevision or Optimum had the same problem? Over here, our Comcast Xfinity reported the premiere as just one hour long. But, Verizon appears to have reported two hours as well. Check out a tweet of that as well.

Here’s a promo clip of next week’s episode below to tie you over in the meantime.

Freeform’s new show Guilt is playing instead of what fans thought would be a second hour of the PLL premiere.

On the press site for PLL, the time slot was written in a previous press release as 8 – 9 p.m., so it looks like the TV providers may be at fault. Whatever the case, there was definitely a miscommunication. Even so, there’s apparently a sneak peek at season 7’s episode 2 airing during the Guilt episode on your TV right now instead of a second hour of PLL.
