Fresh off a platinum certification for his last album Oxymoron, ScHoolboy Q has just released a trailer for his upcoming album Blank Face. Blank Face will be released through Top Dawg Entertainment and will be released on July 8th.
The trailer includes a lot of vivid imagery, beginning with a group of black friends walking around their neighborhood and shifting suddenly as cops arrive. The hostility of police officers and prison guards is clear from the images and the voiceovers, and the anger is palpable. The trailer hints at a story that could be told throughout Blank Face in a way similar to the albums of fellow Top Dawg rapper Kendrick Lamar.
