When Bethenny Frankel finds herself in the middle of cheating allegations on Real Housewives of New York City, she is clearly uncomfortable and doesn’t want to be the messenger of devastating news. As Luann De Lesseps is celebrating her engagement to fiance Tom D’Agostino Jr., Frankel reluctantly and tearfully tells her friend that she received photographs of D’Agostino cheating on De Lesseps. To make matters worse, the photos were supposedly taken about a day before De Lesseps’ engagement celebration. People reports that D’Agostino allegedly cheated on De Lesseps with a Playboy model at the New York Regency Hotel.
Frankel’s eyes begin to tear up as she tells De Lesseps that what she is going to tell her about D’Agostino is true. So, what is the truth? Did D’Agostino cheat on his future bride? In a statement to Radar Online, D’Agostino admitted:
With any relationship, there are always bumps in the road. We had one misunderstanding that led to actions that I deeply regret. What is important, is that we were able to work through it and we are stronger than ever.
So, are De Lesseps and her man still headed for the altar? The answer is yes and they are planning for a New Year’s Eve wedding. As for who will be invited from the RHONY cast list, De Lesseps confirms former housewife Jill Zarin and current cast member Dorinda Medley. In terms of the others, De Lesseps tells Us Weekly:
I always say, we’ll see after the reunion who’s going to be invited — who behaves or who doesn’t. I’m still working on my invites.
