When Conrad was on the show, she looks back thinking: I think the fact that I was young worked to my advantage. I look back at the amount of things I used to do, and it’s so crazy. I don’t think I could do it anymore. I was definitely burning the candle at both ends. And, when it came to the show, the most emotional moments, she says, were real. Conrad told InStyle: I think that the more emotional scenes are the best ones because they were just so raw and real. They might not always look the prettiest, but they were always truthful. In addition, Heidi Montag revealed: Lauren was very serious about not doing fake things. I always admired her for standing her ground with her show. But a lot of it was engineered. Today, Conrad is a successful fashion designer who is married to musician William Tell. Conrad dishes on her life today saying: The biggest projects I work on now are my two clothing lines. Then, I wrote a new book, Celebrate. I’ve also spent a lot of time working on The Little Market, a fair-trade clothing line, which affords me the opportunity to work with amazing female artisans.
