The next Star Wars movie is still three months away, but you only have to wait a few hours until the next Star Wars adventure is here. Star Wars Rebels begins its third season with a special one-hour episode, five months after the thrilling season two finale. The Ghost team might have successfully escaped the clutches of Darth Vader, but they now face another challenge. Read on for a preview of the new episode and to find out where to watch it.
In “Steps Into Shadow,” Ezra and the rest of the Ghost team will meet Grand Admiral Thrawn, a character created by author Timothy Zahn in the novel Heir to the Empire. Since Disney has decided that all of the previously published content outside of the movies before it bought Lucasfilm is no longer canon, this technically serves as Thrawn’s new introduction into the Star Wars universe.
