Don Flores & Carmen Milian: Christina Milian’s Parents

Christina Milian was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, to parents Don Flores and Carmen Milian. Soon after Christina, her sisters, and her mother moved to LA so that Christina could pursue her dreams in the entertainment industry, her parents divorced. She was 13-years-old at the time.

Carmen is Christina’s mom and manager, and appeared alongside her daughter in the E! docu-series, Christina Milian Turned Up. Carmen’s other two daughters, Danielle and Lizzy, work as a hair stylist and chef, respectively– Carmen is their manager as well.

Christina Milian Turned Up premiered on January 18, 2015, and follows Christina’s life with her Cuban-American family. The show was renewed for a second season, but late September, Milian announced there would be no Season 3.

Though the docu-series, fans of the singer/songwriter have gotten to know her parents, Carmen and Don. Don did not appear in the show often, but when he did, he certainly made his presence known!

When Don showes up at the Milian home in Season 2, he meets Lizzy’s boyfriend, Dom, and grills with him questions. It’s all in good-fun, though, and at the end of the conversation, Don states, “I have to worry about my little baby.” On April 16 of this year, Latina.com congratulated Lizzy and Dom for officially tying the knot. The couple are expecting their first baby.

Along with being her daughters’ manager, Carmen is a successful entrepreneur and motivational partner. She partnered with Christina on their passion project, Shelby Star (about an animated musical artist) and for the wine company, Viva Diva Wines.
