Magician and illusionist David Blaine is back on television in a one-hour special on ABC tonight. The special features his cutting-edge, thrilling and unbelievable tricks, along with death-defying stunts. And, several A-list celebrities come along for the ride. Blaine recently dished about the special in an interview with People, revealing that:
It’s been three years in the making to be honest. The first part was learning how to do all sorts of new things that I’ve never done before. Things that were historical pieces of magic. Things that were legendary stories in magic where the actual performers took their secrets to the grave. You see the progress of learning these for the first time. You’ll see behind the scenes and how I work on the magic effect and then you see me go out into the real world and use these new pieces of magic. I look for amazing and truthful responses from people of all walks of life.

CELEBRITIES FEATURED ON THE SHOW: David Blaine dished to People, “This is my favorite special so far. The fact that it’s the first time that there’s an actual story and a little bit of a reveal other than just me doing the magic as a mysterious strange character — you get a peek inside of my world. I’m also doing magic to many of my favorite entertainers in the world as well.” There are a wide range of A-list celebrities appearing on the special, including but not limited to Margot Robbie, David Beckham, Jennifer Lawrence, Johnny Depp, Drake, Steph Curry, Dave Chappelle, John Travolta, Patrick Stewart, Emma Stone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
