For a while now, fans have been on the edge of their seats, wondering what will happen to Alex, who was charged with assault for brutally beating up Dr. DeLuca in Season 12. In a sneak peek, People reveals that Alex will apologize to Jo in an emotional goodbye. Alex tells Jo, "After tomorrow, we might not get a chance to talk. I might not see you after. I just wanted to say I’m sorry.” When Jo replies, "Alex, you've said that. I know", he stops her and says, "I mean for the things that I’ve said. You’re not trash. Don’t ever let anyone say that.
