The next mission for Ezra, Kanan, Sabine, Hera, Zeb and Chopper will have to wait a week because Disney XD isn’t airing a new episode of Star Wars Rebels. The next episode, titled “Iron Squadron,” won’t air until Saturday, November 19 at 8:30 p.m. ET. Read on for a preview of the new episode.
As you can see in the scene above, “Iron Squadron” sees the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who we last saw in “Hera’s Heroes.” Strangely, Thrawn let the Ghost team escape Ryloth and his unconventional methods clearly surprise the other Imperial officers.
In another scene from the episode, seen below, the Ghost team’s first meeting with the “Iron Squadron,” which is just one ship. By the way, that one ship should look familiar. It’s a YT-2400 freighter, the same kind used by Dash Rendar in the “Legends” story Shadows of the Empire. It was also spotted in the special edition version of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.
