With just a week to go before the massive crossover between all four shows in the Arrowverse, Supergirl still has one more challenge to face on her own. In the seventh episode of Supergirl's second season, "The Darkest Places," Kara (Melissa Benoist) will face Cyborg Superman as she tries to save Mon-El (Chris Wood) from Cadmus.
The previous episode of the series, "Changing
," was packed with major developments. James Olsen (Mehcad Broods
) finally took up the mantle of Guardian with help from Winn (Jeremy Jordan). Alex (Chyler Leigh) told Kara that she's gay, but Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima
) wasn't interested in her romantically, leaving Alex crushed. And just as Mon-El was learning to be a good person, he was kidnapped by Cadmus.
Here's the episode description from The CW: While Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) tries to clear his name after being accused of a murder committed by another vigilante, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) heads out on a solo mission to rescue Mon-El (Chris Wood) who has been captured by CADMUS. While fighting to free Mon-El, Supergirl comes face to face with Cyborg Superman. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Robert Rovner & Paula Yoo.
