Zsa Zsa Gabor
2016 has been a sad year for the entertainment, sports and political worlds, as several well known celebrities have passed away, from musicians like David Bowie, Prince and Leonard Cohen, to actors like Alan Rickman, Florence Henderson, Anton Yelchin and Doris Roberts, and most recently, Zsa Zsa Gabor. The Hungarian-American actress and socialite died December 18 at the age of 99, her family told TMZ.
Gabor, who was married nine times,
is survived by her husband, Frederic Prinz Von Anhalt. Her only child, her daughter, Francesca Hilton, died last year of a stroke at the age of 67. Gabor was born in Hungary and began as a stage actor there, before winning the Miss Hungary crown in 1936. Her first film role was in Lovely to Look At
, and she later had major roles in Moulin Rouge
and We're Not Married!
