The 22nd Critics’ Choice Awards 2016 airs tonight on A&E at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, with a 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT pre-show called the “Critics’ Choice Red Carpet Live” as well. T.J. Miller is the host of the awards and you can watch the show in virtual reality for the first time with Intel’s virtual reality technology, titled Voke TrueVR. Also, fans can #TweetAToast to their favorite celebrities and nominees. For all the details on how to watch the awards, the pre-show and additional footage online, read on below.

Desktop

Users can watch A&E’s coverage live via Sling TV, an online streaming service that provides access to select channels for a monthly fee. Here’s how to sign up for a free 7-day trial:

1) Click here to go to the Sling website

2) Click on “Watch Now 7 Days Free”

3) Create an account

4) Select the channel package or packages you want. Make sure to include Sling Orange, which includes ESPN

5) Enter your payment information. Sling Orange costs $20 per month, but if you cancel your subscription within seven days of signing up, you will not be charged

6) Download the app for your computer to start watching


Mobile

Streaming of A&E Critics’ Choice Awards broadcast on phones is only available to Verizon wireless customers, who can watch for free via the go90 app. The app is free to download. You can download the go90 app here.

If you have a Sling TV subscription (read above to learn how to start a free trial), you can watch ESPN’s coverage on tablets and other compatible devices via the Sling TV app, which is free to download in the following locations:

If You’re in the United States & You Have a Cable or Satellite Log-In

If you would like to watch the awards show via the official A&E live TV stream, click here. For those with a cable log-in of their own or cable information from a friend, sign in with your TV provider, whether you use Verizon FIOS, Xfinity, Time Warner Cable, etc. Click or enter your designated cable provider. If you do not see your cable provider, contact yours to see if they are a participating provider.

You will then be directed to a sign-in page, where you must enter a valid user ID and password. You must have access to a cable or satellite subscription that includes A&E programming.

To Watch the Pre-Show & Red Carpet for the Awards in the United States

Click here to access the Voke TrueVR page for watching the Critics’ Choice Awards Pre-Show. The app is available via Oculus headsets, iTunes, Android or on your desktop.

For A&E App & Cardboard Viewers, you can watch using your smartphone or Cardboard viewer. Download the A&E app from the iOS or Android store, select the “Critics’ Choice Awards Live on the Red Carpet” or “Critics’ Choice Awards Live” Virtual Reality Experience from the featured screen. For those using a Cardboard viewer, click the Cardboard icon and insert your phone into your viewer to watch.

When using AETV.com Desktop, click here during the event and select either the Red Carpet or Awards show. In the player, you can choose your preferred viewpoint in the video player and watch the event. While it’s playing, A&E reports that you can click and drag the picture around for an “immersive view” of the program.

To download the app via Oculus, click here. If you have a Samsung GearVR, you can download the VOKE VR app from the Oculus store. At 7 p.m. ET tonight, select the “Critics’ Choice Awards Live on the Red Carpet” channel for the pre-show and celebrity arrivals. Then, at 8 p.m. ET, switch over to the “Critics’ Choice Awards Live” channel to “take your seat in the middle of the action.”
