How to Watch Twitter’s ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ Q&A Session

Earlier this week, Twitter, Lucasfilm and People Magazine announced that they are teaming up for a live stream Q&A session with the main cast and crew from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The event began at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched by clicking here or in the image in the above tweet. Fans were asked to submit their questions by tweeting with the hashtag #AskRogueOne. The event ended just before 2:30 p.m. ET.

Most of the film’s main stars participated, including Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Alan Tudyk and Riz Ahmed. Director Gareth Edwards was also there and People Magazine deputy editor J.D. Heyman was the moderator. Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and actor Mads Mikkelsen were supposed to take part in the Q&A, but she curiously wasn’t there.

The session hasn’t really revealed much about the making of the movie, but we do know that Ahmed is a big fan of Ewoks. After the Q&A session wrapped, Twitter showed footage of Edwards giving Ahmed and Tudyk a tour of the ILM offices.

The session was also expected to include new scenes from the film, which hits theaters on December 16. Early screenings will also start on the night of December 15. You can already get tickets online.

Rouge One is set during the weeks before Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and centers on a band of Rebels who stole the plans to the Death Star. Jones stars as Jyn Erso, who leads the group, while Mendelson plays Director Krennic, the Director of the Empire’s Advanced Weapons Research division who is responsible for stopping the Rebels.
