Golden Globes 2017 Host

Who is hosting the 2017 Golden Globes tonight? Jimmy Fallon has taken on hosting duties this year and he is sure to bring comedy to the show, as he does to his daily hosting gig on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. The show airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC and NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt tells the Golden Globes press that: This is the most spontaneous and uninhibited award show on television, and Jimmy’s playful, disarming comedic brilliance makes him the ideal host to enhance and elevate the sense of fun and irreverence that’s made the Golden Globes one of the premier events of the entire broadcast year. Tons of A-listers are set to appear at the event tonight, from Leonardo DiCaprio to Ben Affleck, with Meryl Streep picking up the Cecil B. deMille award. Allen Shapiro, the CEO of Dick Clark Productions, talked about his excitement over the event and Fallon's hosting, saying: Jimmy Fallon’s brand of comedy will continue the tradition of cutting-edge excitement viewers have come to expect from the host of the Golden Globes.
