‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

Mary Tyler Moore as Mary Richards

The Mary Tyler Moore Show made an impact on television that can't be understated. The show ran from 1970 to 1977 and racked up countless awards, winning the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series three years in a row, from 1975 to 1977. The show inspired three successful spin-offs, including the drama Lou Grant.
Mary Tyler Moore was the star of the show, but each member of the cast became household names in their own right. Moore won four Emmys for playing Mary Richards on the show. In 1974, she won Actress of the Year and Best Lead Actress in a Comedy. After the series ended, she went on to continue to play an important role in Hollywood. In 1980, she played against-type in Robert Redford's Ordinary People, which earned her the only Oscar nomination of her career.
