At the 2017 Oscars, Kenneth Lonergan's Manchester by the Sea has been nominated for six awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Affleck), Best Supporting Actor (Hedges), Best Supporting Actress (Williams) and Best Original Screenplay. The film won the Golden Globe for Best Actor earlier this year, and is hoping to take home more prizes tonight.
