Justin Bieber did not win any of the four Grammy Awards he was nominated for, and his fans are sharing their opinions on this news via Twitter.

Thankfully, he wasn’t even in attendance, so maybe he doesn’t even know he lost and might not care too much.

Justin Bieber headed into the 59th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony tonight, February 12, with four nominations. His song “Love Yourself” was up for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Bieber’s latest album, Purpose, also got two Grammy nods, for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year. The pop star was competing in the top categories of the year, but it was clearly Adele’s year.

Here are the results of his nominations:
Purpose
Album of the Year: lost to Adele’s 25.
Best Pop Vocal Album: lost to Adele’s 25.

Love Yourself
Song of the Year: lost to Adele’s “Hello.”
Best Pop Solo Performance: lost to Adele’s “Hello.”

Building up to the awards ceremony, here are some examples of how Bieber fans were getting excited for his possible wins:
