NBC‘s This Is Us returns tonight with what promises to be another emotional episode. “Memphis” will explore Randall and William’s relationship, as well as William’s past, when they return to William’s hometown. The new episode airs on Tuesday, February 21 at 9 p.m. ET. For a complete recap of the episode, click here.
The previous episode, “Jack Pearson’s Son,” explored the relationship between Jack and Rebecca as it deteriorated in the past and showed Kevin dealing with his stage fright. It ended with Randall suffering a nervous breakdown, and Kevin sacrificed his own career to help his brother.
In “Memphis,” the focus shifts squarely on William and Randall. Before he dies, William insists on going back to Memphis so he can give his son the tour of the city he grew up in that he was never able to give before. In the past, we will earn more about William’s family and how he ended up in Pittsburgh.
