Felicity Huffman is an award-nominated stage, television, and film actress, perhaps best known for playing Lynette Scavo in the ABC comedy-drama, Desperate Housewives, which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and three SAG awards. Huffman's performance in the indie film Transamerica in 2005 earned her an Oscar nomination, as well as a Golden Globe Award, Independent Spirit Award, and National Board of Review. Her other notable film roles include Reversal of Fortune (1990), The Spanish Prisoner (1997), Magnolia (1999), Path to War (2002), Georgia Rule (2007), Phoebe in Wonderland (2008), Rudderless (2014) and Cake (2014). Huffman is married to William H. Macy, a notable film and television actor and screenwriter who plays Frank Gallagher on the Showtime series Shameless. (Getty)
