Who Died on ‘The Walking Dead’ Tonight? [SPOILERS]

who dies on the walking dead

(AMC/The Walking Dead)

During almost every episode of The Walking Dead, someone dies, whether it’s zombies or “red shirt” type characters or one of our favorites. Tonight’s episode likely won’t be any different. Worse, there have been rumors about possible deaths that have some fans very worried about tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead, called “Bury Me Here.” (The title itself is enough to put fans on the edge!) We’ll update this post live as the episode airs and let you know who (if anyone) bites the dust.

This post has spoilers through Season 7 Episode 13 and it will be updated live during the show, so keep checking back for more details.

Last week’s episode focused mostly on Rick and Michonne as they hunted for guns and weapons. At the very end, when they realized they needed even more guns for the junkyard group, Rosita took off. She met up with Sasha and the two decided they were going to try to kill Negan in what would likely be a one-way mission. With the conversation in mind, some fans are very worried about these two characters’ futures.

Here’s the synopsis for tonight’s episode:

Things do not go as planned when a group of Kingdomers delivers goods to the Saviors during a routine supply drop-off.”

Two weeks ago, the episode focused on Eugene’s introduction to Negan and the Saviors. By the end, Eugene became another “Negan” and swore his undying loyalty to the man. There was one character death in that episode: Negan’s Dr. Carson, because Dwight framed him for something he didn’t do. This will likely have unexpected repercussions on The Hilltop Community, a group that is lucky enough to have a doctor of its own.

Here’s what happened.

The Kingdom members were short on their tribute delivery of melons and the Saviors were angry. “We’re going to deal with all of this right now.”

Someone was about to die.

They didn’t shoot Richard. He turned his gun next to Richard instead and shot. It looks like it might be Benjamin, because that’s where he was standing. We won’t know until after the commercial break.

After the commercial break, we saw that Benjamin was shot and bleeding out, but not dead yet. They rushed him to Carol’s but couldn’t save him.

Benjamin died.

He died because of Richard’s decision. And because he wanted to train with Carol but she said no. It was incredibly tragic.

But Ben wasn’t the only one to die.

Later, when they delivered the remaining melon the next day, Morgan attacked and killed Richard in front of the Saviors for what he did.
