Fyre Festival 2017 Bahamas: Photos of the Chaos

This weekend, the supposedly luxurious Bahamian music festival called Fyre Festival was supposed to kick-off. Ticket holders, however, landed in the Bahamas to complete chaos-- unfinished tents, unorganized luggage distribute, and dinner that consisted of nothing but bread and cheese. Oh, and it's also worth mentioning that tickets to the event ranged between $5,000 and $12,000 (the VIP packages cost up to $250,000) according to Rolling Stone. Blink-182 pulled out of the show, saying they didn't think they could deliver the "quality of performances we always give fans", and planes supposed to head to the festival were grounded. An update from Billboard.com at 11:05pm on Thursday reads, "Fyre Festival appears on to be on the brink of collapse with flights to Exumas canceled as organizer struggle to deliver basic accommodations to festival-goers, some who paid thousands of dollars for to attend the three-day festival." Just before 12 pm on Friday, CNN reported that the festival was cancelled after guests alleged a "scam". A tweet posted to the festival's official Twitter page read read, "Due to unforeseen and extenuating circumstances, Fyre Festival has been fully postponed. After assessing the situation this morning and looking at best options for our guests, we cannot move forward as we hoped we could. At this time, we are working tirelessly to get flights scheduled and get all travelers home safely." Click through to see photos of the disarray at Fyre Festival. (Twitter/WilliamNFinleyIV)
