Lady Antebellum Members: Meet the Band

Hillary Scott

Hillary Scott does the lead and background vocals for the group. The daughter of music singer Linda Davis, Hillary is signed to Capitol Nashville, and released her top 10 album, Love Remains with her family in 2016. The singer was born in Nashville, Tennessee and decided to pursue a career in music at age 14. She auditioned for American Idol, but was unable to make it through to the judges rounds. In 2006, Scott met her future bandmates: Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, and the group wrote their first song, "All We'd Ever Need", not long after. Their first performance came in August 2006, and the rest, as they say is history. Lady Antebellum released their debut single "Love Don't live Here" in October 2007, and it soared to the Billboard's Hot Country Songs of that year. Scott married Chris Tyrrell, a Nashville-based drummer, in 2012. Together, the couple has one daughter: Eisele Kaye Tyrrell. (Getty)
