Comedy legend Don Rickles has died at the age of 90, as reported by the Hollywood Reporter today. His publicist Paul Shefrin made a public statement that Rickles had died of kidney failure at his home. The world has lost one of the most famous insult comics of all time. Larry Rickles was born May 12, 1970, but he only lived to be 41 years old, passing away as the result of respiratory failure due to pneumonia, as stated by the Hollywood Reporter. Rickles died in Los Angeles, California on December 3, 2011.
2. Both Larry and Don Are Survived Mother and Wife Barbara Sklar
Barbara (Sklar) Rickles is the mother of Larry and wife of Don Rickles. She is also in the entertainment industry and she married husband Don on March 14, 1965. She was actually working as an agent’s secretary when they met and she later appeared in several television projects. Just recently, Sklar and late husband Don celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary.
