Tonight is the season 10 premiere of Storage Wars on A&E. The show will kick off at 9pm ET/PT with two all-new episodes.
In California, the contents of a storage locker can be sold when rent isn’t paid on that locker for three months. The selling happens in cash-only, cut-throat, high-intensity auctions. Storage Wars follows professional buyers who are given only five minutes to inspect the contents of a locker by just looking into them. Their goal? To turn a profit.
Storage Wars first premiered in 2010, and has been running strong since. Tonight, we’ll be introduced to Emily Wears, a woman who has been attending auctions since she was, well, in her mother’s tummy. Emily is the daughter of Brent Wears, who owns the Wears Auctioneering Inc. The 27-year-old will serve as a new auctioneer on the new season of the A&E show, and recently told the Press-Citizen, “I’m not a television star, but I loved it a lot.” Wears will appear in nine episodes of Season 10, along with regulars like Dave Hester, Jarrod Schulz, and Brandi Passante.
