The CW is once again delaying the next new episode of Supergirl. Instead of “Ace Reporter,” the network will air “Medusa,” which just aired on March 6. “Ace Reporter,” the 18th episode of season two, will finally air on Monday, April 24 at 8 p.m. ET. The repeats mean that The CW gets to hold the season two finale of Supergirl until May 22.

Since Snapper Carr fired Kara, she hasn’t had much time or opportunity to put her skills as a journalist to work. In “Ace Reporter,” she’ll finally be inspired to use those skills again when she sees Snapper (Ian Gomez).

Kara will also meet Jack Spheer, a new character played by iZombie‘s Rahul Kohli. In the comics, Jack is an inventor who becomes the mutated villain Biomax. But in Supergirl, he’ll be Lena Luthor’s ex-boyfriend who comes to National City to show off his new tech gadget, which will end all diseases.

But Kara thinks there’s more to Jack’s invention. She begins an investigation that could reveal that the invention is more harmful than helpful. A still The CW released from the new episode shows that Jack has called his invention “Biomax.”
