‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 13 Episode 22: Photos from ‘Leave It Inside’

In February, Grey's Anatomy was renewed for season 14 (Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder were renewed for another season as well), and fans can rest assured that Ellen Pompeo has no intentions of leaving the beloved series just yet. Ellen first came on board to play Meredith Riggs twelve years ago, and recently told Variety, "Shonda [Rhimes] and I have both said that when I’m ready to stop, we’re going to stop the show... The story is about Meredith Grey’s journey and when I’m done, the show will end.” She then laughed, adding on, "As far as how much longer I want to do the show, I’m mulling that over as we speak.” Pompeo says she feels invigorated for fans' love of the series, and is thrilled it has lasted so long. Tonight, actor Matthew Alan will play the boy’s father on Grey’s Anatomy. Fans of the show may recognize Alan– he’s dating Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson) in real life. The couple just gave birth to their first child together, Hayden, in April. Luddington announced the news in an Instagram post that read, “I am SO excited to FINALLY share with you all news that I’ve managed to keep secret for what seems like forever now… I am pregnant!!!!!! This girl gets to be a ‘cool mom’ ha!” Recently, Alan appeared in the talked-about Netflix series 13 Reasons Why as Seth, who dates Justin’s mom on the show. Other credits on his resume include Lethal Weapon, Scorpion, Longmire, Major Crimes, NCIS: New Orleans, The Night Shift, The Mentalist, and Murder in the First.
