Mark Isaiah on Team Adam Levine – ‘The Voice’ 2017

Mark Isaiah

Mark Isaiah is a contestant on The Voice 2017 and is a part of Adam Levine's team. Isaiah is a singer, who often performs pop music, which is what had coaches Levine and Gwen Stefani gushing over him during his blind audition on the show. In fact, when Isaiah was almost eliminated in the Live Playoffs, his coach Levine begged and pleaded with viewers to vote him through in the competition. Fortunately for Isaiah, fans listened. Prior to singing, Isaiah was actually overweight and lost 40 pounds, which helped him with his self-confidence, according to Hollywood Life. Isaiah told Reality TV World that he battled his confidence in order to audition for The Voice, explaining that: I'm not someone to perform out onstage in front of so many people because I've struggled with my confidence back in the past, so it was pretty hard for me to do. But eventually though, I got through and it was all mental. Isaiah hails from a musical family, but his parents never got to live out dreams as big as Isaiah's. His mother is a worship singer and his father wanted to become a salsa music artist. For more information on Mark Isaiah, click through our gallery of his best Instagram pics.
