WATCH: Miss USA 2017 Preliminary Live Stream

The Miss USA 2017 Pageant airs this coming Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX. But, first must come the preliminary competition, which you can watch above in the official live stream. The preliminaries begin at 8 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET, though additional footage may start airing just beforehand, as it sometimes has in the past. The preliminaries are also live streaming online tonight via the official Miss Universe website. Click here to get to the website.

The preliminaries take place tonight at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada with 51 contestants in the mix this year. There are 50 states represented, along with the District of Columbia. The official description of this year’s preliminaries, provided by MissUniverse.com, reads:

LIVE from Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, all 51 contestants will compete in swimwear and evening gown in front of a panel of preliminary judges. The scores from the night’s event along with an interview portion will help determine the semifinalists during the Miss USA broadcast. Hosted by Alex Wehrley and Deshauna Barber.

For the preliminaries, the judges’ panel is made up of Halima Aden, Vanessa Gringer, Maura McGreevy, Nick Light, Carole Gist and Brook Lee. The main show is set to be hosted by Julianne Hough and Terrence Jenkins, along with model Ashley Graham running correspondence backstage.
