This week’s Lifetime movie centers on another murder mystery, this time at an abbey, where the Mother Superior is mysteriously killed. Sometimes The Good Kill debuts on Saturday, May 13 at 8 p.m. ET. Read on for a preview and to check out the trailer.

In Sometimes The Good Kill, Susie Abromeit stars as Sister Talia, who is charged with finding out who killed the Mother Superior. Not only has the newly elected Mother Superior picked her to do the abbey’s dirty work, but Talia also has to make sure the abbey’s reputation isn’t tarnished. But when another sister is killed, it opens a whole can of works that resurrects the past Talia thought she left behind.

Abromeit was most recently seen in Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix, where she played Pam in eight episodes. She then nabbed a recurring role on NBC’s Chicago Med as Zoe Roth. Her other credits include Devious Maids, The Haves and The Have Nots, Battle Los Angeles and As The World Turns.

Like many other Lifetime movies, Sometimes the Good Kill is a Canadian production. The director is Pilippe Gagnon, whose credits include I Have Your Children, First Response and Her Evil Twin.

Writer Ian Carpenter also wrote 2016’s Final Destiny (a.k.a. Brace For Impact), which aired on Lifetime Movie Network.
