‘The Bachelorette’ 2017 Spoilers: Episode 2 – 5/29/2017

On tonight’s episode 2 of The Bachelorette 2017 with Rachel Lindsay, fans get to see the first solo date of the season, along with the first group date. Plus, there is a ton of drama surrounding one of the contestants. The official Xfinity description of tonight’s episode reads:

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis judge the guys while they participate in an obstacle course; Peter and Rachel go on a date; NBA legend Kareem Abdul Jabbar plays basketball with the bachelors; one bachelor betrays Rachel.

So, who is the contestant that “betrays Rachel” and how does he do it? How does Rachel Lindsay’s solo date go? Before we get into all of that, we must warn you that below are MAJOR SPOILERS about the reported WINNER of the season. If you do NOT want to know who is said to win The Bachelorette this season, STOP READING NOW.

DeMario Jackson’s Girlfriend Shows Up

Contestant DeMario Jackson is on a group date, playing basketball with the guys on this episode, and he’s doing very well. Star Lindsay notices his athletic abilities and is quite turned on, saying that she has a weakness for athletes. Unfortunately, Jackson is the contestant who “betrays” her. When his reported girlfriend shows up, things go awry and Jackson ultimately goes home. ABC’s official statement on this reads:

The fun and games are cut short when a woman approaches Rachel with the information that one of the bachelors is her boyfriend. Rachel’s confrontation with the man and the aftermath of the altercation leaves everyone speechless. It leaves her to wonder if the other men are there to find love or play games. The night of the cocktail party, the rest of Rachel’s men are incensed at the betrayal and try extra hard to comfort her. Everyone is stunned when a surprise guest appears to see Rachel.

So, how did Jackson think he could get away with this? When applying to be on The Bachelorette, it’s quite a process, as The Hollywood Gossip reports and a source revealed that Jackson didn’t exactly have to go through the normal process. Apparently, he was picked to be on the show while at a Chipotle. A source stated that:

He didn’t apply. It came out of nowhere for him. He was like, ‘Cool. Sounds like a great opportunity.’ I’m sure they’d be a great fit!

It’s safe to say that Jackson probably didn’t have the best intentions going on the show.

Peter Kraus Gets the First Solo Date

On episode two, there are two group dates in addition to the very first solo date of the season, which goes to contestant Peter Kraus. And, just so you know, Reality Steve has previously reported that Kraus is engaged to star Rachel Lindsay, but recently, Steve said that his initial report was wrong. Dr. Bryan Abasolo is the reported winner now. According to ABC, this is how Kraus’ first date goes:

Peter is whisked away for the first one-on-one date of the season. A third party – Rachel’s adorable dog, Copper – joins them as they fly to Palm Springs for a day at a pool party with other dogs at “Bark Fest.” The date continues as the pair share a romantic dinner where they connect over their past heartbreak and delight to a fireworks display especially for them.

As for the other dates on tonight’s episode, they are celebrity-packed. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis challenge the guys to a parenting obstacle course and Kareem Abdul Jabbar has another group of guys playing basketball for a crowd.

Contestant Dean Unglert Worries That He’s Lost His Chance

Viewers met Dean Unglert prior to the season, as he got to meet Lindsay on the After the Final Rose Special for The Bachelor. Upon meeting Lindsay, Unglert joked that “once you go black, you never go back.” On tonight’s episode, Unglert expresses that he was actually very nervous to deliver that line and wasn’t sure if Lindsay would like it. Lindsay levels with him and tells him that she was actually planning on using that line this season. She puts his nerves at ease, letting him know that she enjoyed his confidence. The two share a fun conversation and Unglert regrets not kissing her. Unglert tells the cameras that he worries he missed his chance. But, according to Reality Steve, Unglert makes it pretty far this season. So, he definitely will have more chances to kiss Lindsay.
