In a string of tweets, Khloe Kardashian has accused a former friend of stealing a small fortune worth of clothes. When stylist Monica Rose split from the family in March, it was reported that Khloe was thinking of suing Rose. In June 2017, Khloe began a new tweetstorm when she wrote, “What would you do if you found out a friend was stealing from you?” Many fans immediately jumped on the theory that Khloe was talking about Rose. The stylist first became a member of their crew after meeting Kim in 2007.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. Kim Said She Stopped Working With Rose for Aesthetic Reasons
During an appearance on Watch What Happens: Live, with Andy Cohen in May 2017, Kim was asked about the drama with Rose. Cohen pointed out that Kim had unfollowed Rose on social media. Kim said that she hadn’t worked with Rose for “maybe four years.”
Kim gave her reason as after she got with Kanye, she wanted a new look. “I wanted a new vibe. Kanye wanted to give me a makeover,” Kim said. Though she didn’t deny there’s beef there saying, “I just wanted the change, but I just recently heard that, so people have been asking me, and that’s not the reason, so you’d have to ask Khloe, and Kendall and Kylie and the girls.”
On her official website, Rose lists the Kardashian women as well as Kris, Kylie and Kendall Jenner among her “current and former clients.”

Page Six had reported in May 2017 that, “The Kardashians/Jenners are upset because [Rose] was like family to them.” The tabloid says that Rose was “insisting” that she had done nothing wrong.
Meanwhile US magazine, citing a source, said in May, “Kris told her girls in April to cease contact with Monica.”
2. Khloe Said in 2016 That Rose ‘Made Her Feel Special’
As recently as 2016, Khloe was raving about Rose in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. Prior to Khloe’s weight loss, the former Mrs. Odom said, “At my fattest, Monica would always come with racks of clothes and make me feel special. She never told me, “Oh they don’t have that in your size.” Other people said, “I just can’t work with you” – because I was too big. That always hurt my feelings, of course.”
3. Rose Is Married to Former Professional Skater Sal Barbier
Rose is married to former professional skateboarder Sal Barbier. The couple has three children together. When asked about down time by Complex in 2015, Rose said, “It’s all about my family… I dedicate all my time to my family when I am not working.”
Rose called Barbier her “ideal man” in a 2010 interview.
Rose said in June 2013 interview that Barbier likes to go to estate sales to pick up vintage jewelry for his bride because he knows she loves it.
In November 2016, Khloe was pictured attending Rose and Barbier’s baby shower at Chrissy Teigen’s house.
4. Rose Says the People in History She’d Most Like to Work With Are Marilyn Monroe & Bianca Jagger
During a June 2015 interview with Complex, Rose said that she is “kind of obsessed with Zoe Kravitz and Gigi Hadid right now. I would love to get my hands on those two.” While speaking historically, “Marilyn Monroe and Bianca Jagger would have been pretty epic to work with back in the day as well.”
In a separate interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Rose said her fashion icons were, “A mix between Bianca Jagger, Jane Birkin and Kate Moss.” That same interview saw Rose get across her hatred of flip flops, saying she would never wear them nor would she put a client in them.”
It was working for Complex when Rose met Kim in 2007. Rose told the magazine, “We met on the shoot and we hit it off. She was just so sweet. We reconnected a year later when they were filming the show and ended up working together one everything she had going on… She introduced me to her family and we’ve been working together ever since.”
Rose said in 2010 that her favorite colors are black and grey. In that same piece, Rose gave her motto as “Just do you.”

Speaking of tweetstorms, on June 2, designer Destiney Bleu sent a group of messages on June 2 openly accusing Khloe of stealing designs. Specifically, Bleu says Khloe lifted the designs for crystalized lingerie and swimsuits, for the Kardashian Good American brand. Bleu added that “someone” bought “1 of everything” on her site. Bleu wrote that she is considering legal action.
People notes in their reporting on Bleu’s outrage that her designs have been worn by Beyonce and Serena Williams.
