Tonight, Hallmark will air the film Site Unseen: An Emma Fielding Mystery.
The film centers on Emma Fielding, an ambitious archaeologist on a quest to unearth the remains of a coastal Maine settlement. When Emma finds a dead body in her search, her team is forced to take unforeseen measures.

Courtney Thorne-Smith as Emma Fielding
Courtney Thorne-Smith played Jim Belushi’s wife on ABC’s According to Jim for eight seasons. Before that, she starred in Fox’s Emmy Award-winning series Ally McBeal as Georgia Thomas. In Two and a Half Men, the 49-year-old played Lyndsey McElroy, and in According to Jim, she held a starring role as Cheryl.
In Site Unseen, Thorne-Smith’s character’s discovery of a dead body and the 17th century settlement has large implications that could change her course of action and life. In a recent interview, the actress sat down to discuss the film. Asked what the production experience was like, she said, “It was a wonderful production. The cast and crew were all so talented, and we were all happy to be working on such a fun project — a joy from start to finish.” She also adds on that she’s a fan of TV murder mysteries, and grew up watching Hart to Hart and Columbo.
James Tupper as Tim Conner
James Tupper recently acted in HBO’s Big Little Lies as Nathan Carlson, the ex-husband of Reese Witherspoon. His other credits include the SyFy post-apocalyptic thriller series Aftermath as Joshua Copeland. In the world of TV, the actor has appeared in Grey’s Anatomy, Men in Trees, Mercy, Resurrection, and Samantha Who?.
Tupper was born in Canada and studied acting at Concordia University, followed by Rutger’s University. After college, he appeared in a number of Off Broadway plays, like An Actor Prepares and After the Rain.
