Emily Rose returns to Lifetime tonight for The Killing Pact, a crime thriller. The film debuted on Lifetime Movie Network back in May, but is making its debut on the main Lifetime channel on Saturday, June 17 at 8 p.m. ET. Read on for a preview of the movie and to watch the trailer.

Killing Pact – TrailerStarring Emily Rose, Brian Krause, and Melanie Stone, premiering on Lifetime Movie Network, May 26, 2017.2017-05-19T22:35:44.000Z

In The Killing Pact, Rose stars as Hayley Udall, a single mom trying to raise a 14-year-old daughter. Life is really hard because her ex-husband will not go away. One day, she vents her frustration to two strangers (Melanie Stone and Brandon Ray Olive), who also have a problem they want “taken care of.”

Later, her ex-husband winds up dead and Hayley has to clear her name. But then one of the strangers abducts her daughter and won’t let her go unless Hayley kills the person they want dead. It looks like those strangers saw Alfred Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train and wanted to see if that plot would work for them. (Obviously, they didn’t see the end of that movie though.)

The Killing Pact was directed by John Lyde, whose other films include Story Tellers: An Evening with Colorful Characters, 626 Evolution, Mythica: The Goslayer and Mythica: The Iron Crown.

Star Emily Rose should be familiar to Lifetime audiences, since she recently starred in Daughter For Sale, which aired earlier this month. The actress remains best known for her role as Audrey Parker on Syfy’s Haven from 2010 to 2015.

PLOT: “Hayley Udall tries to make ends meet for herself and her 14 year-old daughter while providing alimony for a dangerous ex-husband. She wishes her problems with her ex could go away, and upon venting her frustrations one night, finds herself tangled up in a pact with two people (Melanie and Kevin) to “eliminate” each other’s problems. It seemed like innocent wishful thinking, but as people end up dead–including Hayley’s ex-husband–Hayley is trapped. She tries to clear her name but the police are eyeing her for her ex-husband’s death as well as others. Then Melanie abducts Hayley’s daughter as leverage to force Hayley to follow through and kill one last person. With the police trying to find the truth, Hayley must hurry to save her daughter and find a way to avoid murder.”
