Pretty Little Liars only has two more episodes in the series and the A.D. theories continue to swirl. We’re leaning towards Spencer’s twin being the ultimate villain. However, there are currently tons of theories still in the mix. Check out some of the other theories below.
Perhaps the twin of Spencer, given up by Mary Drake while she was in Radley, is A.D., and maybe Mary Drake even helped out the twin in scheming against the Liars. After all, when Spencer went to see Toby, as part of her turn in the “end game,” she was rewarded with information. Mary Drake keeps popping up this season, talking to Spencer and almost trying to bond with her.
Dr. Wren Kingston is definitely a suspect, and he was seen meeting with Spencer in secret this season … or was it Spencer’s twin? Whatever the case, he has clearly been mixed up in no-good dealings against some of the Liars. Another details to think about is that, when Jenna is shown in a room with A.D. at the beginning of season 7B, A.D. is dressed in hospital scrubs.
Mona has definitely been the prime suspect in recent episodes, but we’re thinking that this would just be too easy. She could just be diving in to help out the Liars in discovering A.D.’s true identity, like she said. Or, perhaps she’s working hand-in-hand with A.D.?
Toby is a stretch, but the enemy could be anyone and boyfriends, as well as exes, cannot be counted out. There are even theories that Caleb or Ezra could be A.D.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Andrew Campbell. Fans have speculated that the character Andrew Campbell could actually be Andrew Drake. According to Metro, he’s proven to be against the girls in the past and he was also adopted, which could work with the “Andrew Drake” theory.
Other suspects include Melissa Hastings, Ali (solely because she was the schemer in the PLL books), and Lucas.
