Tonight, season 2 of Wynonna Earp returns on Syfy.
The series follows Wyatt Earp’s great granddaughter as she takes on demons and other ghastly creatures. This time around, Wynonna and her group of dysfunctional friends must try and save Purgatory from a whole new band of demons. Read on to learn more about this season’s cast.
Melanie Scrofano as Wynonna Earp
Actress Melanie Scrofano was born and raised in Ontario, and has appeared in over 40 films and television shows, some of which include Supernatural, Being Erica, Robocop, Haven, and Saw & Warehouse 13. She also played Tia Tremblay in The Listener.
When she isn’t busy filming, Scorfano lives in Canada with her husband, Jeff.
Tim Rozon as Doc Holliday
Tim Rozon rose to fame playing heartthrob Tommy Quincy for four seasons of Instant Star. His other roles include Mutt Schitt on CBC’s Schitt’s Creek.
Tim has made guest appearances on shows like Rookie Blue, Lost Girl, and Flashpoint, for which he received a Gemini Award. As a voiceover actor, Rozon has lent his voice to The Legend of Sarila with Christopher Plummer and Genevieve Bujold.
When he isn’t busy filming, Rozon is a restaurateur in Montreal at his restaurants Garde Manger and Le Bremner.
Shamier Anderson as Xavier Dolls
Shamier Anderson studied at the Wexford School of Performing Arts and graduated from their elite program with honors. He recently starred in the feature film Race alongside John Malkovich, William Hurt, and Jason Sudeikis.
Anderson’s other credits include Constantine, Defiance and The Tomorrow People.
Dominique Provost-Chalkley as Waverly Earp
British actress Dominique Proost-Chalkley has her roots in dance– she began at age four, and in her teenage years, she began acting, singing, and exploring dance to a deeper degree. After spending three years at the Laine Theater Arts school, she secured the role of Baby Houseman in the West End’s Dirty Dancing.
Chalkley’s other notable credits include Britannia High and The Midnight Beast. She also appeared in The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Katherine Barrell as Nicole Haught
Along with acting, katherine Barrell works as a producer, actor, and director. She honed her craft at the George Brown Classical Theater School.
Barrell played Jacqueline Gill in The Scarehouse, which was released by Universal Pictures in 2015. She also starred in the thriller Definition of Fear, produced by Oscar-winner Christopher Branch. The film is set to be released this winter.
