Bella Thorne Says Purported Masturbation ‘Sex Tape’ Is Fake

Actress Bella Thorne has taken to Twitter and unleashed an epic denial regarding a purported sex tape that is circulating online.

“Hahahahaha wait you guys think this is real? Hahahaha. I don’t even masterbate (sic) like that. Where’s the vibrator thooo??,” she wrote of the video, which shows a person some people think is the actress masturbating.

The woman in the video even bizarrely says at one point, “finally, I really needed a father.”

Here’s Thorne’s actual tweet:

Thorne’s mood then turned more somber as she tweeted again about the video. “The worst part of this video is them making fun of the fact that I lost my father. You’re right. Me being daddyless is sooooo funny,” she tweeted.

Bella’s father, Reinaldo Thorne, was killed in a 2007 motorcycle accident. The star has spoken openly about her fears of driving as a result.

Thorne, 19, is best known for her roles in Shake It Up! (2010), The DUFF (2015) and Blended (2014).

HollywoodLife noted that there are reasons to believe the video is fake, in addition to Thorne’s denial. “The clip seems to be edited, the audio sounds odd, and Bella’s face and naked body is never shown at the same time. At this point is just seems like a cruel prank,” the site reported.

The video did have Bella Thorne trending on Twitter for a time on July 20.

A lot of Bella fans leapt to her defense and argued the video is definitely fake.

Thorne also faced some cruel mocking on Twitter from some people who saw the video, but many others leapt to her defense and argued that the video looks like it’s doctored. It’s not clear where the video first originated, but at least one person said they’d previously seen it online months ago, raising further questions about its veracity.
