Drew Carey is engaged to therapist Dr. Amie Nicole Harwick. A rep for Carey confirmed the engagement to Page Six, adding that there are “no other wedding details at this time.”
The 59-year-old comedian and actor has never been married, although he was in a long-term relationship with his previous girlfriend, Nicole Jaracz.
Carey has been hosting the The Price Is Right since 2007, when the legendary Bob Barker retired. Before Price, Carey was best known for hosting the game show where points don’t really matter, Who’s Line Is It Anyway? He also starred in his own sitcom, The Drew Carey Show, which ran from 1995 to 2004 and earned seven Emmy nominations.

Harwick is a licensed marriage and family therapist, who also specializes in sex therapy. Her office is located in West Hollywood, California.
She earned her B.A. in psychology from California Polytechnic University and got her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She also earned a Doctorate in Human Sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality.
Harwick is also a member of the professional groups California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and Kink Aware Professionals.
According to her Psychology Today profile, Harwick has been in practice for four years.
2. Carey & Harwick Met at a House Party in June 2017
Carey and Harwick’s relationship was first reported by TMZ on July 5. Sources told the site that they met at a house party in June and started dating soon after.
The couple were seen at a soccer game in Portland, with Harwick posting a video on her Instagram page on June 27.
“I went to my first soccer game this week when I saw the Sounders play the Timbers with @drewfromtv and it was so much fun. It just happened to be the biggest rivalry in American Soccer,” Harwick wrote, tagging Carey in her post. She added the hashtag “#unintentionaltwinning.”
Since then, the couple have appeared in posts on each of their Instagram pages, often posting the same image. Carey’s most recent Instagram post, on July 15, is a photo of the two, with the caption “24/7.”
3. She Wrote a Book Called ‘The New Sex Bible for Women’ in 2014
In 2014, Harwick published her first book, The New Sex Bible for Women: The Complete Guide to Sexual Self-Awareness and Intimacy.
The publisher’s synopsis describes the book as “an all-encompassing and fully comprehensive guide for women covering everything from masturbation, oral sex, self-esteem and self-care, sex positions, safety and concerns, and sex aides.”
Harwick has also contributed articles to various sites and magazines, including Elite Daily and Glam Magazine. She’s also been quoted in Men’s Health articles.
4. Harwick’s Cat Has an Instagram Page With Over 1,200 Followers
Harwick doesn’t just have an Instagram page for herself. She also set one up for her cat, Marquis De Chat. The page has over 1,200 followers.
In addition to her own Instagram page, Harwick also launched a YouTube page to promote her practice.
Harwick also shares modeling photos on social media. She also once appeared in Playboy and wrote a 2014 article for the magazine.
5. Carey Was Previously Engaged to Nicole Jaracz From 2007 to 2012
In January 2012, Carey’s representative told People Magazine that the Price Is Right host and Nicole Jaracz called off their engagement.
Carey and Jaracz were together for five years and got engaged in 2007.
Jaracz and her son Connor inspiring him to lose 80 pounds in 2010.
