‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Premiere: Best Quotes from the Episode

HBO

One of the best parts about the Season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones was the amazing dialogue (in addition to that breathtaking scene with Arya.) There were a lot of great lines in this episode, so we’ve gathered up some of the most memorable ones for you to enjoy.

Here are some of the best quotes from the Season 7 premiere.

Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe.” – Arya

This one might just have been one of the most epic quotes in the entire series.

No need to seize the last word Lord Baelish, I’ll assume it was something clever.” – Sansa

Maybe it was wrong, but this one was just so funny. After how Petyr approached Sansa last season, thinking he would impress her by saying that he pictured her by his side while he sat on the Iron Throne… Well, he deserved it.

When people ask you what happened here, tell them the North remembers. Tell them winter came for House Frey.” – Arya

Another epic quote from an epic scene.

You killed your brother.” – Cersei

You should try it sometime. Felt good.” – Euron

Sure, maybe he was talking about Tyrion. But considering all the other jabs he made against Jamie, we all know who this one was aimed at.

The people I was cutting down were your own kin.” – Jamie

It was getting crowded.” – Euron

Euron had some hilarious lines. And honestly, that statement probably endeared Cersei to him, considering how much she seems to enjoy killing people.

I will not punish sons and daughters for the crimes of their fathers.” – Jon Snow

Jon Snow is still very fair. And considering how much Catelyn hated him when he was a kid for being a bastard, he knows what it’s like to not want to be punished for your dad’s sins.

I am the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.” – Cersei

Well, three at best.” – Jamie

Wish he stood up to her more often.

It’s my f**ing luck I ended up with a bunch of fire worshippers.” – The Hound

After his close encounter with fire so long ago, it just seems fitting that prophecy would be delivered to him through fire.
