During the Season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones, the Hound and the Brotherhood Without Banners came across a house, and the Hound seemed to act really strangely about the whole thing. Who were the people there?

The people in the house that the Hound, Beric Donadarrion, and Thoros found had special meaning for the Hound. In fact, it was so important to him that he had to go out in the cold and bury the dad and the daughter. Who were they?
They were the family that the Hound and Arya stayed with during their journey in Season 3. He stole their silver and beat up the farmer dad before they left, saying that they would both be dead by winter.
It turns out that he was right. But he was likely right because he took their silver.
The family was very kind to the Hound and Arya, and he repaid their kindness with cruelty. In an interesting twist, Arya stayed with a group of friendly people in the same episode. The men said that if you’re kind to strangers, they’ll be kind back. Arya might have thought not only about the Red Wedding, but also about that trip with the Hound. It seemed at one point like she wanted to kill them, but changed her mind. This shows how differently Arya handles things than the Hound.
