1. Usher Allegedly Paid $1.1 Million to a Woman He Gave Herpes
Radar Online states that Usher convinced his partner at time, Maya Fox-Davis, that his STD examination result was negative, and as a result, they continued to engage in unprotected sex. “Believing Raymond’s statements that it had been nothing and cleared up,” says Fox-Davis’ lawyer, “[she] continued her relationship.”
Three weeks later, Fox-Davis said that she was “feeling very sick” with a “fever of 100 degrees, chills, headache, and aches and pains.” Her lawyer added that she “developed lesions and blisters in her genitalia,” and upon going to an urgent care, was informed by a physician that she had contracted herpes.
A file on the settlement paperwork stated: “In a series of telephone conversations and online chat sessions, [Usher] has apologized for infecting [her] and told her he would take care of things.” Usher eventually settled with Fox-Davis on Dec. 28, 2012, coughing up a total of $1.1 million and additional medical bills amounting to $2,754.40.
2. He & Grace Miguel Were Married in Secret in 2015
Usher and Grace Miguel began dating in 2009, shortly after his alleged herpes diagnosis. They announced their engagement in 2015, but there was no word on their marriage until the singer spilled the beans on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Congratulations to you – he got married!” DeGeneres said of his wedding, to which he confirmed: “Thank you! It was really great.”
Usher revealed that they were married in a private ceremony in Cuba, and a photo on Miguel’s Instagram account showed that the singer was already wearing a gold band on his finger.
“You know what’s funny?” Usher told DeGeneres, “We put this picture up and we were actually just in Cuba on a cultural exchange and people were like, ‘Hey, they got married.’ But you know, the ring is on the other finger, you guys. But we had a great time. [Grace is a] wonderful woman.”
In an interview with Billboard, Usher spoke on his relationship with Miguel.”One thing that has come from having a great partner like Grace is being able to cherish the places that I’ve gone,” he said. “We see the monumental sites, go to the museums, eat in the best restaurants. I’m that guy now! In the past I’d do what I have to do and get on the bus to the next city. Life has become a vacation.”

In 2012, Media Take Out reported that Miguel caught wind that Usher was “getting it poppin” with one of his backup dancers, and indirectly led to his canceling the last leg of his Virginia Tour. The official cause was that Usher had broken three ribs during an accident onstage.
Earlier this year, Ace Show Biz claimed that Usher was seen “spending time with a tatted up beauty” in Hawaii. The article claims that Miguel was not with them at the time. Gossip Cop debunked this rumor shortly after, however, with an inside source reporting that “The girl pictured is one of the dancers that went paddleboarding with the group.”
A representative for Usher further states that he was having “plutonic fun” with his backup dancers and staff. To date, there have been no verified accounts of Usher cheating on Miguel.

She’s someone who’s been able to support and understand all of who I am. Not just as a dancer or as a performer or as a singer, but as a humanitarian and a business man and as a person.”
