Tonight, Bruno Mars will be presented with the Visionary Award at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards for his success in pop music.

The 31-year-old has won a slew of Grammys, and has an impressive five No. 1 hits, including one of the top songs of 2017– “Thats What I Like”. Mars is the only artist this past year to have quadruple-Platinum singles from the same album.

Tonight, Miley Cyrus will also be receiving an award– the Ultimate Choice Award, which will honor her involvement with the TCAs for more than a decade.

The 24k Magic World Tour

Bruno Mars is currently in the middle of his 24K Magic World Tour. The tour began March 28, 2017, in Antwerp, Belgium, and is slated to finish June 8, 2018, in Monterrey.

Mars announced the tour in November 2016, saying that he was gearing up to embark on an 86-date world tour across Europe and North America. The artist spent a great deal of time promoting the show through concerts and performances– including one at the Mohegan Sun Arena and another at the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards.

His next performance will take place August 15 at the Quick Loans Arena in Cleveland Ohio. On the 16th and 18th, Mars will be performing in Chicago.

“24K Magic”, the lead single from his album of the same name, was released on October 7, 2016. The song peaked at Number four in the US and reached top spots in Belgium, France, and New Zealand. The album officially came out November 18, 2016, and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Chart.

Hit Songs

Mars’ debut studio album, ” Doo-Wops & Hooligans”, included the hits “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenade”. His second album, “Unorthodox Jukebox”, hit No. 1 in the US, and included the hit singles “Locked Out of Heaven”, “When I Was Your Man” and “Treasure”.

In 2014, he sang on Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk”, which topped billboard charts worldwide, including the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and UK.
