Bachelor fans who haven’t kept up-to-date with Lace Morris have a lot to catch up on.

When we first saw her on TV, Lace was competing for Ben Higgins’ heart. Then, that summer, she was invited to season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise where she and fellow contestant Grant Kemp entered a serious relationship and ended up getting engaged. In his proposal to Lace, Grant said, “I love you when you’re happy, I love you when you’re stubborn. I love you when you’re sad. I even love you when you’re screaming at me. But mostly, I love you when you’re Lace. Lace, I can’t picture my life without you. I want a future with you. I want babies with you. You know, I want to build a life with you, and, uh, I want that to start today.”

In November, Grant and Lace broke up. In a statement to ET, Morris said:

It really was mutual. We both have our issues we need to work on, and we can’t really give each other what we need at this time. It’s just not the right timing. We have so much love for each other, and it’s weird because the chemistry is there, and I’m thinking, ‘Why can’t we make this work?’ But it’s just not possible right now.

Since the split, Lace has moved on to a new man named Russell, who she met on Bumble. She gushed about her new beau to E! in April, saying, “We started talking at the beginning of January very nonchalantly… Literally, we were terrible at texting each other and it’s weird how it worked out. After about two months, we finally went on our first date after not talking for a couple of weeks and we just immediately hit it off and it’s crazy, we’ve been inseparable since!”
Lace later dished about the couple’s dynamic. “He’s one of those guys where he literally acts like I am the only person that exists in this world and he doesn’t care for all the creepers (online), he’s not with me for all that s–t.”
