What’s up? Hot Dog! will be hosting their annual pop-up shop starting on October 28 and ending on November 1. The hot dog shop is adopting a new menu, and their staff is dressing up in celebration of Halloween.

The owner of What’s up? Hot Dog! decided to take on a Bob’s Burgers-themed menu for their first Halloween at their restaurant after opening. This year will be the third year that the shop offers a pop-up Bob’s Burgers menu.

Here’s what you need to know about the shop:

1. You can Find the Shop in Vancouver

What’s Up? Hot dog! is located at What’s up? Hot Dog! in Vancouver. The store will be open on Saturday October 28 from 11:00 a.m. EST to 2 a.m. EST, Sunday October 29 from 11:00 a.m. to midnight, Monday October 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and Tuesday October 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

The shop will not be serving its regular menu during that time, instead adopting a complete menu based on Bob’s Burgers options.

2. The Owner Feels a Kinship with Bob

According to an interview with beatroute ca, the Bob’s Burgers theme was a given because the owner of What’s up? Hot Dog!, Matt Hagarty, has always felt a kinship with Bob, especially after opening his own hot dog shop.

“The cosmetic similarities between our shop and Bob’s Burgers made it an obvious choice two years ago when we had to decide what to do for our first Halloween,” Hagarty said. “If I felt connected to Bob before, dressing up as him and working in ‘Bob’s Burgers’ each Halloween has really made the whole thing very confusing and surreal.”

Though they take Halloween very seriously, the owner also said that they take their menu and food quality seriously as well.

3. The Menu Features Selections From the Show

What’s up? Hot dog! will have a mostly burger menu with more than 7 choices. According to the Facebook page for the event, there will be vegan and gluten-free options available. The regular menu will not be served.

A few of the selections from this year’s menu include the “Final Kraut Down,” which comes with sauerkraut, fried onion, spicy mustard and pickle, the “Eggers Can’t be Cheesers,” which comes with fried egg, pickle, spicy mustard and onion and the “Sweet Home Avocado,” which comes with avocado, sprouts, pear, cheddar and honey mustard.

Other selections on the menu include fries, wings and a house salad. See the photo above for the menu from 2015.

4. There Will be a Costume Contest

Every year, the shop has a costume contest that gets bigger and bigger.

To enter the contest, guests have to visit the shop during the Bob’s Burgers takeover and take a picture in the shop. The picture then needs to be tweeted to @whatsuphotdogvan with a #whatsuphotbob hashtag at the end. There will be prizes for the winners from the sponsors of the event.

With over 2,000 people interested in the event on Facebook, there may be a lot of competition to win those coveted prizes.

5. The Whole Shop is Decorated

According to beatroute’s interview with Hagarty, even the bathroom is decorated in celebration of the big event.

On what will be different this year, Hagarty said:

We keep trying to ramp it up each year, so we’re just adding more cosmetic touches this year. Our infamous bling’d out bathroom is going to be converted into a scene from the show, but I’m going to keep exactly what that is secret. I’m not buying a new moustache though. The one I wore last year has been stuck up on the kitchen wall for a year straight, and I plan on donning the exact same one this time around. It’s a trooper.

He also said that last year a couple of the animators from the show showed up, which means they could be making a return trip this year. It’s likely the shop will be even more decorated than last year.
