Unlike many celebrities, The Breakfast Club star DJ Envy has been married to his wife since they were high school sweethearts. Envy, real name Rasshaun Casey, 40, married Gia Casey in 2001. The couple have since gone on to have five children together, daughters Madison, London and Brooklyn in addition to sons, Logan and Jaxson. Casey has been forced to endure public embarrassment too during their relationship. In 2013, Envy was forced to publicly admit his affair with reality TV star Erica Mena. Nowadays, the couple seems solid and even host their own podcast together, The Casey Crew

1. Casey Is Hopelessly Devoted to Her Family

As noted by Inside Jersey, where the Casey family lives, Gia and her clan are very into wearing matching outfits. Nearly every post on Casey’s extremely popular Instagram page shows at least one member of her family. Casey as 233,000 followers on Instagram.

The photos of the family on their various vacations in Florida and the Caribbean, the Casey children and parents all match in their outfits.

2. Envy’s Former Mistress Said the DJ Is ‘Ashamed’ of His Wife

Back in 2013, Envy went public on The Breakfast Club about his infidelity with Erica Mena. Envy told the world back then, “I started messing with somebody that was beneath me. A bird. Evil. A liar. Somebody that was desperate and it’s just so pathetic. I mean I didn’t have to feed this person. I didn’t have to make her feel special because she wasn’t. So that’s what it was.” In responding to those comments, according to Vibe, Mena said that Envy was “ashamed” of his wife.

In an Essence magazine feature on their life together, Envy said:

… Not to sound too crazy, but she’s my everything. She’s my wife, she’ll turn into my slut. Everything we want to do in bed, we do. I’ve been a cowboy. I’ve been Barack Obama. I’ve been a police officer. And one time, I was Maxwell.”

While Casey went on to credit God with helping the couple rebuild their marriage after Envy’s infidelity. They also went on thank Tyrese for his role in their marriage. Envy said that Tyrese ‘made me a better man.”


3. Snapchat Messages Have Appeared Apparently Showing DJ Envy Being Excited by a Woman’s 9.5 Inch Strap-On

Envy, real name Rassshaun Casey, became a Twitter trend on the morning of October 26 after a Snapchat exchange between him and another woman became public. It’s not clear if the woman in the messages is Envy’s wife, Gia Casey. The messages strongly suggest that Envy is into pegging. Pegging is when a woman inserts a sex toy into her partner’s anus.

Celebrity gossip monger Fameolous reports that the messages are not real. The site reports that Envy and his wife have made a police report. Fameolous continues saying that the person has apologized to Envy and that Fameolous itself was a victim of “stalking” from the same person.

In an Instagram post before going live with The Breakfast Club on October 26, Envy made no reference to the controversy:

Envy responded to the allegations on The Breakfast Club saying, “I don’t know where [the messages] came from. Whoever it was has been chasing all the reputable blogs [and] nobody posted it. And I guess they found one that has.” Envy later retweeted the Famelous tweet about the messages.

The Casey’s have been trying to sell their home in the Kinnelon Township in New Jersey for around $2 million, reported NJ.com. The listing notes that the home is bedazzled with “almost 4,000 crystals.” The home also contains a separate closet for Casey’s shoes and one for her handbags. At the time of writing, Trulia still has the home listed for $1.9 million. That listing describes it as a “luxurious fortress.” The house has the celebrity standard pool, screening room, spa and bar.

In early 2018, Envy will drop is new album, Just a Kid From Queens. Speaking to XXL Magazine about the project, Envy said, “When I first set out to do this, I was like, ‘F*** that. I’m going to take it back to the streets. It’s going to be all hardcore s***.” But then I realized I have different feelings for different moments. Yeah, sometimes I want to hear a grimy, gritty song. But then other times I want to have my shirt off and show my beach body and do some Jersey fist-pumping. But then sometimes, I want to chill with my wife and ride down the street and be sexy and then sometimes, I want to bounce around and act a fool in the club. I wanted to have all those elements on my album. I knew I wanted to have all the moods. It goes everywhere.” The album will be his sixth release since 2003.
